New Short - Professional Music - Act 2 Script

Greetings weary travelers, Ze here, I hope this message finds you in good health and a happy spirit.

First, a joke. Always start with a joke.

A logician’s wife sends him to the market, saying: “Bring back a loaf of bread, and if they have apples, get a dozen.” The logician comes back with a dozen loaves of bread. Peaved, her wife asks, why did you get so much bread, to which the logician answered. "They had  apples!"

It has been a while since our last update. What happened, you ask? Life happened, unsurprisingly.
A few of those seemingly ubiquitous life things came up and we spent some time on them.
It's alright, no need to weep for us. Life is, by and large, made of such life things, and when they show up, I don't feel like they're an interruption to making the game. The game is a part of life, just like these life things.
When they come, we invite them inside for tea and biscuits.

Speaking of tea, another short story that happens in The World has been released, titled "A Slovenly Magus" and weighing in at roughly 5,500 words.

If you've backed us for at least $3 here or on our ko-fi page, then you should already have received it. If you haven't, get in touch with me and I'll address that grave injustice.

The first short story - The Fog Children - will be given out to our tumblr followers and mailing list subscribers soon.

A friend of ours, Phil Blonski, is a wonderful musician who's done a few fantastic sounding samples of professional music mastering on The Remainder's soundtrack. We're currently trying to raise some funds to go towards paying him to do the entire soundtrack. You can help by visiting our Ko-Fi. We're only $105 away from reaching the goal!

If you enjoy some indie music that's both chill AND fly, and is made by an all-around great human being, you could do worse than Blonski. Give his Bandcamp a visit, a lot of his music is pay-what-you-can, just like The Remainder Act 1.

Act 2's production is picking up and should hit full-steam-ahead this week if there are no more surprise tea visits.
The script is currently sitting at 16k words, and that's slated to go up, way up, and then sideways some, if I have my way.
Obviously, I can't say much about it, except for what I have already said on my twitch writing stream - it's got a lot more branching, many more characters, and more bizarre, dream-esque encounters for you to experience, along with an unhealthy dose of danger and madness, of course. Of course.

That's all for today, we will have some interesting news and development for you soon, keep those pointy ears perked.
If you haven't already, play Act 1, leave us a rating or comment, tell your friends about the game(but only if they're cool like you.)
