Weary travelers, I hope this message finds you in good health and spirit.

In two more weeks, on March 23, the full game will be released for $20.

I will share some more stats and features of the final game as we approach the release day.

Stat #1: The game will have ~140k words.

I had not anticipated ever writing something of this scale, it's about the size of a paper-back novel! And we trimmed it quite a lot, believe me, we really tried to 'kill our babies' as they say, which means going over the text again and again, weeding out what is not necessary, what goes against the central mood and theme, and what just doesn't ring well. 

So I hope in the end we can deliver 140k words that go somewhere, that say something worthwhile, that gives you a memorable experience. 

The number of words doesn't mean so much to me as the rightness of the words, to that end we're still testing the game intensely as we have been for the last week or so.

Be aware that you may come across some spoilers or other information which could potentially detract from getting a fresh, first impression of the finished game. But on the other hand, you can be part of the game's gestation, and its early evolution, with an inside view on the process.
